ZW8-12 outdoor column high voltage vacuum circuit breaker (hereinafter referred to as circuit breaker) is an outdoor power distribution equipment with rated voltage of 12KV and three-phase AC 50HZ. It is mainly used for disconnecting and closing the load current, overload current and short-circuit current in the power system. It is suitable for protection and control in power distribution systems of substations and industrial and mining enterprises. It is more suitable for rural power grids and frequently operated places, especially for the needs of urban network and rural network transformation.

Main feature：

1. ZW8-12 circuit breaker adopts three-phase common box type, the inside of the box is dry air, small in size, light in weight, clean and pollution-free, and easy to operate and maintain.

2. The opening and closing operation of ZW8-12 circuit breaker can be operated manually or electrically and remotely. It can be integrated with the controller to realize distribution automation, and can also be combined with the controller to form a recloser and a segmenter.

3. The FDK-10 composite controller is arranged in the spring operating mechanism. The controller is used for switching the inrush current and the overcurrent protection of the grid. The protection mode of the device is: inrush current delay + overcurrent fault delay + short circuit fault timing limit instantaneous action.

The advantages of this device:

(1) The inrush current is adjustable by 100 ms, 150 ms, 200 ms, 300 ms, 500 ms, 1000 ms, and 1500 ms.

(2) On the basis of ensuring the elimination of the malfunction caused by the inrush current and the reliable elimination of the overcurrent trip coil jitter, it not only eliminates the malfunction caused by the instantaneous overcurrent fault of the line, but also ensures the rapid breaking of the short circuit fault.
